Pacific Island Forum - Deep Sea Minerals High-Level Talanoa

Dr Isoa Korovulavula, our Associate Investigator at University of the South Pacific attended and contributed to the high level discussions at the Pacific Island Forum’s Deep Sea Minerals High-level Talanoa .

The event brought together the governments of the entire region to discuss the likelihood of Deep sea Mining and its ramifications for the region. The event, taking place in Suva, Fiji from 17-20 February, provided a platform for Forum Members to share relevant national experiences and contexts on deep sea mining.
