Documentary Screening and Q&A - Deep Rising

On May 13th, the Mining the Sea research team will be screening the landmark documentary Deep Rising. Narrated by Jason Momoa, the documentary explores the complexities of deep sea mining and its significance for the Pacific. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with a panel of experts: Isoa Korovulavula (University of the South Pacific), Pascale Hatcher, Alex Teague (Political Science & International Relations), and Viliame Kasanawaqa (Macmillan Brown Center for Pacific Studies).
