UC Media and Coms Research Seminar

Thanks to everyone who showed up at our UC Media and Communication research seminar on DSM today. It was so nice to see so many friendly faces, both online and in-person. I think we counted nearly 30-40 people, and it was very encouraging to see this broad interest in environmental politics in the pacific. Ngā mihi nui!

We discussed findings from our forthcoming paper on corporate communication and international non-governmental organizations working this sector, where environmental discourses on the just transition appear to be as diverse as they are prominent, which holds distinct implications for Pacific Island Countries (PICs).

Thanks also to Natalia Chaban for giving us a platform to share our reserach - and not not least for the critical and affirmative inputs during the kōrero that followed our talk.
